Off Topic Tuesdays: iPhone vs Yorkshire

In the comments to this post, you can get as off topic as you like. This is your chance to talk about non-comics stuff, thread derail, and chat amongst yourselves. In terms of topic, anything goes, but remember that the other community rules do still apply.

Well guys, it appears the world is collapsing in on itself this year.

There's a conflict in Syria over the use of chemical weapons, there's another one happening in Egypt between its government and its people, Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper is boycotting the Sri Lanka summit, and finally America is having a conflict of its own (albeit a rather stupid one) in the form of Tea Party Republicans holding the entire country (and world economy) hostage because they don't want to support Obamacare.

All in all, the world is carrying on like normal.

Yet, despite all the conflicts going on right now, there is one conflict in the world that goes unparalleled. It involves the use of new technology and the sound of your voice. A problem that is very much unique to artificial intelligence:

The ability to comprehend human speech in all its diverse glory.

Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you...

I tried it myself using three different accents and got the same result each time.

I'd love to see someone try this with a Scottish accent. :)

Oh, National Novel Writing Month. Why can I never decide what to pick for you until, like, a week from November?

Also, Batman Beyond DC Nation Shorts next year: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ericjoseph/news/?a=88370

But that's not off topic.

Neither is this: Stephanie Brown to return as Spoiler in Batman Eternal next year.
